Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas everyone! We had a good day. We went to Utah last week and spent some time with each of our families but had to be back Monday for George to check in from leave. It was a short visit but a good one because we didn't have much time so we spent it all with family. Nate got what he asked Santa for: a toy helicopter--not a big one! I got tons of scrapbooking stuff and George got some fishing stuff. Nate also got lots of cars and has loved playing with every single one. I think his favorite toy is the fishing pole his dad got for him. He likes to practice casting inside and has already gotten the line tangled more times than I can count. We got some music books and some reading books and many other things that I won't bore you with. It was a nice relaxing day and we hope you all had as good a time as we did!

Farewell Feet!

Any of you who have been pregnant know how it feels when you look down in the shower and you realize you can no longer see your feet. I fear that day is soon at hand. For those of you who haven't been pregnant, just gain about 50 pounds in less than 9 months and then you will know this feeling! If you don't want to do that just take a look at this picture and imagine it is your feet (or rather your belly) that you are looking at. Goodbye feet! I will miss you!

typical day without dad

The other night I was on the phone talking to my family and Nate found something to keep himself entertained. He found the pancake mix and it took me about 30 min to realize he was up to something. You show me a home with kids that hasn't had something like this happen and I will show you a freak family! What else can you do but grab the camera and tell them to say cheese?
